Yael Stone

Stone was raised and born from Sydney, Australia. She studied at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone's acting career began as a child, when she was as a character in Me Myself I. and The Farm. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer as well as Best Supporting Artist for her performance in The Kid. The television show she appeared on featured support roles on All Saints, Spirited and various other television shows. In 2010, she was a lead actor on the screen in The Diary of a Madman. Her performance earned her a second nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. She travelled in New York in February 2011 to perform in an upcoming Brooklyn Academy of Music production of The Diary of a Madman.
