Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America She is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. As a teenager, she was an expert in piano playing and was the winner of a national contest at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only 13 years old. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her high school studies through Fort Collins High School in 1960.
